I am wondering if the connection for the players for the older audio player (mine is symphony cassette player) are compatible to newer CD players, if I could just swap in a new unit for the older one. I would like to maintain the originality of the car components.

I also wondering if the wiring for the CD changer in the car comes pre-installed as mine does not have one.
