Thread: Hi from small Malta!!

Hi all Just have found this forum about skoda, which I hope it should be usefull.

I have just bought a 1992 Favorit 130L with the 1289cc engine for just 250 euros. I will use it as a daily driver , and it also has some rust on top of the windscreen, and at the side below the rubber strip.
Not for now but when I will have time and space, I have everything and Im able to cut rust and mig weld the repair patches back on.

Only has been mine for just three days, and I would like to know what average mpg should I get from the 1289cc driven cautiously not exeeding 2250 rpm (gentle right foot)??

However althouh the tatty body, im quite pleased with the nice ride it has, light steering, and no vibration at all(not like fords)
