Thread: Octavia 02-Rear passenger door wont open

The central door works on all doors except the passenger rear door, the child lock may be activated, I can hear the lock operating but lock it stays locked. Manual operation doesn't work, when used both with internal hadles and external handle. If I raise the latch and operate the lock it still refuses to open.

Has anyone any idea how I can get the door to open?

Is there a hidden switch somewhere?

Is it possible to remove the door by unscrewing the hinges, sufficently to get access to the screw holding the trim?
