I have a skoda 120 and recently the differential broke down, so i changed the whole gear box and differential from 5 speed to a 4 speed unit. the gears do enter while the car is jacked up. when the car is lower on its wheels and started none of the gears enter. An extension has been done in the links between the leaver and the gearbox, because it was too short. What could be the cause and how can I solve this problem?
