Default Skoda Fabia - mass airflow sensor

    Hi all,

I have an '02 Fabia, and the engine management and EPC lights have been on since I got the car. Took it to an independent garage to get it checked, apparently it's the inlet manifold mass airflow sensor, I was told that it's ok but will need replacing sometime soon. I'm hoping to sell the car, so want to get this fixed.

I don't want to pay main dealer prices to get it replaced and have the light reset. I'm pretty handy with a toolkit, is it a simple job to replace the sensor? How can I get the light reset without paying £££?

    Thanks in advance.

it is simple work to replace the sensor..open the intake manifold and u will find right beside it the sensor!

about reseting it ..it is easy ..when u find the error..click it and reduce the mass airflow from 10 to 0...and before this you can buy a choke spray and spray it in the mass airflow..and reset it from the toolkit.
