    Default Electrical problems with Octavia

One week ago I notised strange electrical problem with driverside (Left) door. Centrallockingsystem does not lock the driverside door every other doors work normally. I've chekced all cables without succes....

There is also another problem. Mirror control on drivers door does not control left mirror at all. When I turn the selectorswitch to L (Left) position, mirror on the Rightside works but function is mirrorised on horisontal. When I adjust mirror left, it goes right and when Right, it goes left. Vertical adjust works normally. WHen I put selectorswitch to R (Right) position, Left mirror does not do anything ( It should not do ) Right mirror works fine.

What should I Do? where should I start broblem solving?

My Skoda is 1.9 TDI Octavia Combi, 2004 Dynamic. Originally 66 Kw engine,

check the fuses!! if the fuses are ok..then go for dismantling the door which has the problem and dismantle the side mirror which has the problem and chech the cable.

tell me..do the central lock work to the left door from your remote control even? or even from the button of open/close inside the car? or every way doesnt work?

hint...try to unplug the cable of the battery for almost 4 hours then plug it back...only be sure that you have the passcode of your CD player, this solution sometimes help.

if not.. then go to the service center and ask them..to check the car via the VAS computer and test the central lock and the mirrors.
