Hi everybody, I have just joined this group, and would like a little help, please.
My car is a 2004 Fabia Estate (1.9TDi, if it matters), I have had a removable towbar fitted for a couple of years now.
My problem is that when it is fitted I have a dreadful problem with hitting speed bumps, especially when towing my trailer tent.
I live in Southern Spain, and these bumps are like a rash with nearly every village hereabouts having at least 4.
I want to know if I have a problem with my springs. I have read advice to measure the height from the ground to the top of the wheel arch laden and unladen, and compare the figures with the manual. I have the electronic version of the workshop manual, but there are no figures for this mentioned, can anyone help, please?
