    Default Porsche 911: hard starting

I have a 1980 porsche 911 sc that refuses to start after it gets warmed up.. Cold it's never a problem, hot it just won't go!

    Suggestions please...

Check for manifold leaks, some don't open up until warm (making the motor run lean), it's also possible the cold start is sticking, this could be more to do with temp sensor (making the motor run over rich).

Both of the above things are related to the fueling of the motor, and generally if a motor won't start when hot it's usually something to do with fuel/air mixture.

It would also make sense to run a compression check on each cylinder.

    HTH.
