Hi Guys,
I have a skoda octavia 1.9tdi - temp gauge started flashing recently - took to mechanic, he replaced the sensor with new one as fan was not kicking in. I drive for a while now then gauge comes back on - check water may need topping up, drive again for a while and then temp gauge warning light is on again!!!! _ mechanic checked fuses and also bypassed temp sensor ( fan on constantly) but all the time warning gauge comes back on - i,m cracking up here - any ideas what the problem is?????
Mechanic tells me to keep topping up water every time light comes on but surely there's a better answer than this???
