    Default Windscreen Wash Home repair

Hi, the motor on my washer is working but not pulling fluid through to front or back (back didn't work for a year now front has failed).

Can anyone point me in the right direction to locating and fixing the problem myself? Basic diy skills on classics but wary of modern (electronic/computer managed) vehicles.

    Thanks.
    model is a 106 T reg

Hi there. If the pump is working/running,then its likely that the washer pipes are clogged up.I had this on my Xantia all the time.In the end it was the pipeing under the bonnet that was getting clogged, just with the muck etc from the washer bottle.I cut the old pipe out & fitted some new pipe & some new jets.Never had any probs after that. All cost very little as well.

I know on my Xantia the pipes under the bonnet had joins in them,& where the connect on the washer jets.If you can disconnect it at the washer jet, then use the washers to see if water comes out of the diconnected pipe.If so,the jets are bunged up.Small neddels or pins are good for getting into the jet eye.Have a poke around to try unblocking them,or maybe blowing through them.
