Thread: 206 gti 180 (expensive first car!!!)

Hi Guys,

I new to this so go easy on me. haha

I have a 206 GTI 180, and to be honest I have nothing but problems with it, I have been so close to selling it, but I love it....sigh

The problem I have is this, Every time the car heats up (90 deg) my brakes shriek (not squeak, SHRIEK). I wouldn't mind but I have already spent £650 on the brakes to get this fixed and I’ve only had it a year.
I am seriously at my wits end with it, it’s so embarrassing.

I would REALLY appreciate ANY help you can give, I’ve asked garages from Gatwick to London......and..... nothing.

i am from RSA.. i have a 180 and have had only a computer glitch which the warranty sorted out..

its a beaut of a car..
