Thread: tappinn noise top end??

hi have v plate 306 gti6 with a tapping noise replaced the hydraulic lifters problem still there need sum help and advice please many thanks.

Is the sound there all the time and at all temperatures? What grade oil do you use?

Replace oil&filter with correct grade,check oil pressure and check for cam/lobe wear.
