Thread: Engine question

Hello!
My motor on a Peugeot Expert (1999) broke, and I am searching for an replacement engine, I found one that might fit, from an Fiat Scudo (1997).
But the engine code on the peugeot engine is XUD9TF (DHX), and the Fiat engine has the code XUD9TF/Y (DHX).
Does anyone know the difference?
Will it fit?
And are the transmissions different on these cars?
On a picture I received the engine looked similar, but I am not sure.

I am just frustrated, and really in a need for some help.

Check with your local Peugeot dealer,they should have an oversight into the different types of engine grades,and what the differenses are.
