Within an ace of buying an 05 1.9TDi Stylance today, it would suit us very well, BUT, i read about this failure of the ABS unit which VAG would replace providing full VAG service history on the vehicle.

The repair would cost £1500 !! otherwise.

I also read of engine problems with the 105 bhp and poor economy of the 140 bhp diesel.

please advise if you have had/having these problems with your car and how the situation was remedied.

It seems a much underrated car, no doubt ignored by many for its "different" styling.
