Leon - Pollution Light
Hi folks
I have 1 2004 mk1 Leon and the pollution light has just came on and is flashing. It has previously appeared then gone away shortly after.
Anyone know what this is.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Assuming by "pollution light" you mean the picture of the engine being struck by lightning, I have had this intermittently since replacing my engine. The diagnostic tool has given me 2 messages at different times: (i) intermittent misfire (ii) replace charcoal filter. I've never felt any problem due to a misfire and changed the charcoal filter myself having bought a second hand one. My garage (not a Seat dealer) is mystified.
This last week a rattle started happening from under the car. It turned out to be one of the catalytic converters, which has now been replaced. We wondered if the failing cat was causing the pollution light to come on - answer is it wasn't, because two days after fitting the new cat, the pollution light is back on.
If you come up with any other possible solutions, please let me know.
Regards
For all intensive purposes, the car is driving fine. If you come up with any other suggestions/corrections, please let me know
