Thread: wheels?

hi, i've just brought a leon 1.9 TDi, am looking for a nice set of wheels, but not sure what size to go for 17" or 18"? also need to find out how wide i can go? any ideas?

I have a set of 17"s for sale on the for sale threads here.
They provide a reasonably good ride quality and look great I have read reviews suggesting 18s are a bit harsh although the look is attractive. On my peugeot where standard 15s were replaced by 17s it was too crashy so I went down to 16s with good effect.
