Thread: central locking not working

Hi
I am writing as my central locking on my 1999 seat ibiza 1.4s has decided to pack up.

no sounds from the motor at all,so none of the doors can be opened my the central locking including the fuel cap. its not the key keb as the lights flash when the button is pressed.
does anyone know if it is the central locking vacuum pump or is it another problem?

i am annoyed as one day it was ok then i went to it the next morning it wasn't working.


can anyone help.

I got it working as it was the vacuum pump.
my hubby took the pump to bits and put it back together.
after that it worked, it seemed to need a little nudge.
