I am getting really fed up with so-called expert garage advice. Everytime I have a problem, if my Dad took my car in, it got sorted and if I take it in, I always get ripped off - it isn't fair - and now Dad isn't there to help. I have a SEAT Ibiza 1200cc 3door, 2002 and there is a horrible graunching noise when I slow down. It isn't brakes, (which I had checked) because the noise is there when I brake OR when I change down and slow with the engine, without touching the brakes. It also seems worse when I turn the steering. On my last visit I was persuaded to replace a wishbone bush (£62) and guess what - it made no difference - noise is getting worse. Before I get in deeper with the experts, has anyone got any ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks
