Hi all, well My friend and I have embarked on a track car project and the base is a Seat Ibiza (mark 2 facelift if I am correct??) GTi 2.0 litre 16 valve.

She has been tracked previously at Knockhill in Scotland approximately 5 times and goes by the name of "Irn Bru"!

Mods so far are:

Totally stripped interior
Bucket seats and harnesses
Pipercross Induction
Magnex exhaust (we think...)
Raceline coilovers
17" white alloys (For sale or Swap - too big to track)
Boot clips

and loads, loads more to come in the following months!!!

Our plan is:

Relocate battery to rear
Smaller lighter alloys
Cams
Carbs
Manifold
Strut braces
Uprated bushes and roll bars
Roll cage
Plastic windows
Lighter bonnet
Bonnet pins
Bigger brakes, pads and discs
de-cat
fly-off handbrake

and then forge the bottom end and internals and turbocharge!

In the photo, the bucket seats are not fitted as yet, need to sort out some sort of subframe or something and then the whole leather GTi interior front and rear and door cars etc will be up for sale along with the alloys and tyres pictured!
