    Default getting a cat D 'right off' back on the road,,help!?

    ive been offerd a crackin seat ibiza mk2 for hardly anymoney,, but the only problem is its a cat d right off
    its only light pannel damage which ive been quoted a price for, but if i carry out the repair, what else do i need to do so that i can legally insure and own the car
    ive been getting different answers and really dont know whats right or wrong
    any help please?

    hi jakk
    cat d its fine dont worry its really simple i bought mine as a cat d all i had to do was first i applied for a log book but i couldn have one until i got it VIC tested its really simple just take it a VOSA testin site there is one in exeter they basicly check the VIN plates to make sure that its the same car they put it too there computer and then u can just apply for a new log book for about £20
