Thread: water leak

hi guys,just wondering if anybody can help me.i own a 2003 leon cupra and seem to have a leak,the rear passenger footwell is collecting water.had a good look round but no obvious sign of where it's coming in.anybody experienced this before?

I’ve just had the same problem. The guys I took my car to (Seat Leon 1.4 03 plate) had to take the whole front dash off before they found that the original sealant when the car had been made had cracked and was letting a trickle of water in. The water coming into mine was collecting on my driver’s side foot well.
I will say this though that although no parts were required to fix this, it cost £210 as it took 6 hours labour to take the car apart before they found the problem and it was fixed!!
