hi,
i have had my seat leon stylance now from new in 2006 i have recently had many problems with the car. the car mis fires and then slows down the car even went through a stage of cutting out and did so at a round about when my other half an kids were driving the car she was left not wanting to drive the car and even went back to drining her own car, the car is cutting out miss firing and has a loss of power.
the car has the emissions light go on and has been to the garage now several times and each time they turn out the light and and then i drive it a couple of hundred miles and the light resturns. i have had a new exhaust new spark plugs and a few other bits changed it is once again back in the garage again and is costing alot of money no to get repaired,
im trying to find out if anyone else is having the same problem i know of another car that is having the same problem.
i just wanted to know if any one else has a similar problem or has any ideas of what i could try,

try the icv (idle conrol valve ) or the maf (mass air flow sensor) hope this helps

Also check fuel pressure (faulty pump)
