Looking to buy a new Leon, need advice...
I'm looking to buy a new Leon 1.8 TSi 160 HP. The dilemma is whether to order a sport suspension or not? I want my car to handle well with minimal body roll, especially in fast driving on through tight corners, which is why I'm considering the sport suspension. However, in test driving the Leon 1.4 TSi I've noticed the ride is sort-of soft-firmy, on some more pronounced bumps and potholes rather crashy. I'm a bit worried that the sport suspension which is more stiffened, might be too harsh on not so well maintained roads. Does anybody have any experience with sport suspension and can possibly compare it to the standard set-up?
The other thing that I'd like to know is what fuel consumption can I expect from 1.8 TSi engine? The specs say 9 l/100 km in urban cycle. Is this realistic and which figure am I'm really looking at?
Thanks for your feedback!
