Default 03 toledo problem with passenger door

i have had two problems first was that i noticed water running through the door trim and coming out the bottom on the passenger side front for some time, then today the door wont release with the remote locking and cant be opened at all from either side? i am guessing water has got into the electrics? pain as the mot is due in a few weeks and bet it would fail on this id appreciate any feedback?

    Default Toledo passenger door problem

Saw your post about your leaking passenger door. We had this on 3 doors of our Toledo. It is as straightforward as it appears: Rain runs down the window in to the door and out the bottom of it in to the car. If your electrics have gone that is unlucky but unlikely to affect your MOT. To fix the leak you need to remove the whole interior trim from the door and perform a plugging job with some sealant (e.g. silicone). Then keep it dry for 48 to bond. You can do it yourself if your glueing skills are neat, or if not then try a car bodyshop.
