Thread: 2000 tdi-s 110 issues...help please!!

hi all,

i just bought a toledo tdi-s 110 and have a couple of things i need help with,, firstly... when i stop the car slows down fine but when its almost at a standstill slightly judders then when stopped it goes away. the car drives fine. i thought it was front discs and pads but i have fitted new ones so it may be the rears, but im sure it does it sometimes without me touching the brakes when letting it slow down via the engine... also, when i start it theres a bit of a judder just when i turn the key but its only on the inital turn the gear stick jumps/judders for a split second. im thinking this may be a gearbox/engine mount issue but was wondering if anyones experienced similar.

the next issue was fuel economy, i know these are the renound vw group tdi engines and are generally superb, but mines is returning 35-40 mpg approximately. im not driving it hard and the engine seems as sweet as a nut. appart from what i have mentioned the car runs/drives great. any things i can check..? or any know issues that these appear to be??
