Thread: How to "change the turbo"

Hi all, I am new to this forum malarkey so please be patience.

I have a 02 leon 110bhp tdi and it look as if the turbo has gone.
A mate who is sooo cool is willing to change it but he needs some sort of guide to help him out (things to look out for).

I have done a search but no joy, this could well be because i am new to the forum so sorry.

Could someone please help, point me in the right direction to find a guide.

I think that you have to change your turbo ever but its always safe to take it off and see if the turbines are fine or if they're are any cracks, the turbo is pretty strong.
