Can anyone assist!?

I own a 55 plate Leon 2.0LD TDI Sport with the standard stereo unit. I want to add in an "Aux in" socket so I can connect up my mp3 player.
Does anyone know how I break in to the loom to acheive this and how to get my stereo to recognise it?
