    Default Windscreen Wipers not working

    Hi - My windscreen wipers are not working on my 04 Fabia 1.9d. I have replaced the fuse but still no joy Can anyone help please?

    Test for poer to the fuse

    Could be a burned out motor, do you remeber if the blades strained when they moved.

    there is a relay that controls the wipers ,,might be worth a look, quite cheap to replace, normally goes if you try to use wipers when they are frozen to windscreen and not been released before power is applied---a bit obvious but have you replaced correct fuse ?,make sure fuse is well seated

    Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't think I had used when frozen and didn't notice any strain when previously in use but will take a look at the fuse, power, relay and motor. Cheers!

    My wipers stopped working in heavy snow (which was great!).

    I used the manual to check the fuse, which hadn't gone, but found another website that suggested checking a second fuse. I did this and wipers are working again!

    Had this problem recentley, change fused 15, headlight cleaning system, wiper. All worked perfectly again!

    Im a few weeks late.......but in reply to the guy with no wipers. I had the same on the Fabia VRS...Fuse was ok......but there was a bad contact at the relay. Cleaned and dried, all ok
