Thread: Skoda Fabia: suspension mounts

Just got my car back from having it's annual service and m.o.t, i got a phone call earlier saying my car had failed the m.o.t on:-

Suspension rubber mounts
Top suspension mounts
Top suspension bearings

Apparently this is a common fault with VW group cars, i'm not happy as my car hasn't reached 30,000 miles yet.

Waugh, after just 30K? I have no exact answar for you, but please read on:

.. got a 2001 1,4 mpi combi, and is hearing squeeking noise from 'front-end' when moving over traffic bumps or when acc./dec.- could it be, that you also are experiencing that occaicionally or permanently, and(asking) could that hint at your suspension faults?

Elsewice I may have either motor- or lower suspension-bearing issues?! Strangely, noices are NOT persistant, and I find it somewhat difficult to see any pattern...
