Hi!
Ive just purchased a 2002 1.9SDI Fabia hatchback. It seems ace but ive noticed a problem in that the heater is pumping out hot air no matter what temperature setting its set to - even with the air con on. Any ideas before I melt?!

im guesing its a private sale then ?
their is likly to be a heater control vavle posibly but this normally make its blow constant cold.

I've not experienced this one, but I have seen a few posts about heater control flap problems. Usually it's all hot or all cold and nothing inbetween.
The quickest way to diagnose the fault would be a VAG-COM session, it can interrogate the control units and simulate various conditions, this should help to identify if the flap is capable of moving or not - then you will know if it is a mechanical / actuator problem or a controller / input problem.
