Thread: Fabia Diesel- different fuel?

Hi Guys
has anyone had experience of running the 1.4 TDI on biodiesel yet?
I live in the Bristol area, and am now on the lookout for a local supplier. Your comments and experiences would be appreciated. Those lucky enough to have this alternate fuel, can you advise what sort of price is the going rate please

Bi fuel near me is £1.02 a litre just found out an hr ago.
We used to run on bio till our local supplier shut down.
We running 50/50 deisel and new rapeseed oil as of today 93p a litre from liddles and tescos are doing 6 litres for £5.
advise 50/50 mix for first tank, second tank 1/4 deisel 3/4 bio then stick to this but change the deisel filter. Then 3 tank fulls later change it again. what year is yours ours is 2001 y reg

I dont think you can run the pd engines. Consult the owners manaul this will tell you. As its under warrenty you would also need to check the grade to avoid voiding your warrenty
