Dash squeeks seems to be a Fabia 1 annoyance, so i tried to squeeze a cork in between dash and buttom of the windscreen(cabin side!!!).

I tried this briefly before, and it worked a charm- no squeeking! My only concern was possible tensions could build up in the glass, so i left the idea...

... until yesterday, and again it was a bliss NOT hearing dash-noises right until i jacked the car up to change brake pads. Thus twisting the cars body just a tad, the windscreen........... cracked

AAAARGH....

Nobody but me to blaim- THAT really hurts...
