Thread: Felicia Fun Alternator? Power Drain Problem

I have a 98 Fun, which drains power extremely quickly..

I can get up to 100km from a battery before the car stops.. I have tried various batteries so I know that this is not the fault.. I have tried a mulitmeter on the alternator which does appear to throwing power out. When I tried running the car and disconnecting the battery it cut out which made me query the altenator again....?

Any other ideas?

hi i just fitted a new alternator to my 1.3 gli. what i done is start up the car and put a multimeter on the battery and see if its kicking out 14.50 if its below this then the alternator has gone and i got a new one for £115. that was the lowest one i could find
