Hy all!
I have a problem with my octavia 1! if the engine is cold, the idle speed get stuck in 1750-1800rpm. 50s-1min after everything ok! !octavia 1999 1,6 8v 55kw AEE!
Throttle valve is cleaned!

I have similar problem on my octavia 1998 1.6 55kw AEE. When engine is cold, idle speed stucks in 1800-2000 rpm. After engine warm up, idle speed is normal, but sometimes it is 1100-1200 rpm, and I can decrease it on 850 rpm only when press gas pedal hard, several times sometimes. I ve changed throttle valve, now suspect on air flow meter (if it exists :-))...

AEE engines have not air flow meter...only MAP (manifold absolute pressure)...
