Thread: Skoda Braking Problem

2009 Skoda Octavia 2 ltr has problems braking in wet conditions.

Seems to have a brake fade only in wet conditions.

Have returned the car to the skoda dealership on three occasions, they can find no fault.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, would be obliged for any feed back.

what sort of driveing do you do long period of cruising ? ie mayne roads a and m roads. Is it less likley to happen in town ?

Yes, I do mostly motorway driving, and it doesn't happen in town or in the dry

What it is then, is most likley water building up on discs surfaces. Not sure if theirs a permanat cure but is you think well I havent used them for a while Just dab the break to remove access water just as if you have driven through a large puddle or a ford.
