2001 Skoda Octavia Tdi.. I suspected lower suspension arms, drop links and anti roll bar bushes causing a rattle when travelling on a bumpy road . After replacing those items I still have a rattle maybe a mounting in engine gearbox area.. Nothing obvious . So, has anyone any ideas or suffered a similar problem? What are the likely parts to check?
Any help much appreciated.

that will be the radiator rattling mate there prone for it...order some new mountings for it or get underneath and pad it with something...ive got to do mine as well

could be a loose wheel nut which a mate of mine got a rattle and 1 was loose.

check the tie rod ends normally cause a clunk but could be. also check the tyres for deformation along with exccess dirt and balanceing
