Default Skoda Favorit

Skoda Favorit 1.3Glxi '93
It's been in the family 14yrs.
You can do just about every job on it yourself.
Not like my brother's Audi80 which had a flat battery and needed
the immobiliser resetting by Audi = £320

I'm guessing the economy is about 40mpg ; I've never measured it.
It has been a great reliable motor with the one exeption : yesterday
it wouldn't start at Morrison's.Then when I went to tow it 7hrs later(with the Audi) it started. It's running fine now.
It was definitely fuel starvation.Could it be condensation in the fuel tank ?

Funnily enough I was going to phone a scrapper to collect it today,
it was my brother who insisted on towing it.....and now I wouldn't be surprised
if I don't keep it another couple of years
(worst luck : I fancied an Octavia or Fabia but there's no way
I'm parting with the Favorit until it's done for........the last MOT only
cost me £35 in parts)
