Thread: Rear washer Skoda Roomster

My screenwasher motor suddenly became noisy when used for rear washer and the pressure was reduced to the rear window, i suspected pipe to rear washer damaged.
i took my car to the local skoda dealer from where i purchased it to investigate.
They told me the front dash had to be removed to replace the pipe as it had split due to the frost.
Quote £550.
I said no and i would have it repaired somewhere else, and i was charged £76 for their labour
Although the car is only 6 months old they said the warranty would not pay for it as it is due to frost damage.
I have emailed skoda warranty to complain and await there reply, the problem has only just appeared and i would have thought the problem would have shown up earlier if it had been due to the frost.
Beware not all robbers wear masks.

Sorry forgot to say Roomster, I have contacted skoda warranty direct and they have promised to look into it for me, i hope they can repair on warranty as i can get it repaired elsewhere but it might affect warranty in future.
