Petrol in Oil after overheating
Can anybody help, My girlfriends Skoda Fabia overheated the other week due to a leek in the radiater. I fixed the radiator and the car starts ok, but then smells of petrol and wants to stall as you rev, i've noticed more water coming from the back of the engine and then the smell and looks of petrol in the oil
I'm now thinking that the head gasket has gone but before i start stripping the engine, does anybody know if this sounds correct or do you think it could be the piston rings ? or worse has the block cracked ??
Any help please would be appreciated before i start spending the dosh to get the car going again !
Cheers.. Mark
