Hi I am using the Skoda Octavia Lauren & Klement 2005 model. I have an inbuilt symphony 6 cd changer. However when I try to play any CD a message is displayed on the player like "MECHANIC" and due to this I cannot play the CD. I have tried to empty the CD container and load only one CD but even that does not help. Has anyone come across the same issue. Please help!

Mine did that a few times..
I changed a couple of cds & it cleared up tho???
Hasnt shown up again as the original 6 cds were swopped

Hi I have come across this weird problem where the CD changer displays "SURFACE" on the display. I have tried emptying all the CD's from the rack and try to play one CD at a time but even that does not help. Could anyone help me resolve this issue. Many thanks!

i've also got "MECHANIC" on my stereo when i try and play a c.d.does anyone no how to solve this problem...PLEASE help me out!

First check: is the CD inserted with the right side down...?
