Thread: electric windows & central locking issue

my octavia 1.6glxi has developed a fault in that the nearside front window goes down of its own accord and will only close by using the key and activating the central locking. there is a constant clicking (as in a relay or solenoid activating) from the door.
My boot wont open except by manually moving the lever which involves climbing into the boot (embarassing).
Anyone got any ideas??

do you not have a leaver for boot next to drivers seat where the petrol/deisel cap release is ? as for window sounds like a dodgy wire.
