Thread: Boot door

Sometimes on my Fabia i go round to open the boot and nothing happens, so i then have to open it via the lever by the drivers door.
Has this happened to anyone else and if so how do i rectify it.

yes i have the same problem.i sometimes tell who ever with me to lift door whilst i pull lever.i was thinking of fitting a small spring to push door upwards

Pulling the lever is fine, it's when i try and open it by hand. Mine has like a pad that you press and it opens and there's no key hole.

Ours has only ever opened via the remote or lever. its a 2001 model and had it 5 years. I think mayby theirs somthing wrong if you can open yours by Hand.
