    Default Cambelt

Got my cambelt done today, the car has done 25,000 miles and the belt is the original which is 7 years old now which is way to long to have a cambelt for.
Anyway i paid £338 for the lot, is that good.

My dad had to pay over £1000 when a cam belt pully failed to get the engine rebuilt on his 1.4 16vFabia.

I was told if the belt went it would cost over £1000 to have the engine fixed. Glad i got it done.

The car had about 110k on it, we had been advised to get the cambelt/pully changed at 100k but ofcourse my dad knew better.
I'm now driving it and at 117k still going strong.
