Hi (Steven)...sorry about the very late reply but I've only just joined the forum. Anyway, if you still have the problem posted above you will nearly always find that the culprits are the front anti-roll bar bushes. Quite a common thing on an Octy of this age. The replacement bushes are longer lasting than the originals. I had mine replaced on warranty at 22,000 miles and the car has now done over 90,000 with no further problems with them. hi big kev...just found your reply to-day, your right about the bush,s got new from main dealer he failed to tell me thay were modified had to go back for suitable brackets alls well now, many thanks ,steve ps having trouble with this site seams to change lay out daily ,what happed to maintainance, & electrical sections ? seam to have disapered
